Working Experiences
Prior to Leader's Gene consulting, Ning led the overall Leadership & Culture consulting business in Accenture Great China and was the GM of YSC consulting, where he led plenty of impactful project through C-suite succession, coaching for transformation, top team integration, and DEI/culture strategy, etc. He serves many global 500 companies and has led projects across China, Asia Pacific, North America and Europe.
In his corporate career, Ning oversaw Talent & Organization function for over a decade in IKEA and Ubisoft China. He then joined Amazon and led market talent programs for cross boarder e-commerce business. He was an experienced Total Rewards consultant in his early years with Mercer Consulting.
Aside from his corporate experience, he pursued an entrepreneurial journey in his mid-career. He co-founded a start-up retailing company in 2017. As the Chief Experience Officer, Ning developed customer experience strategies for online and offline customers.
Brief Introduction
Ning has in total of over 20 years of management experience in Corporate and Non-profit organization. Ning believes that leadership is a born nature that is equally seeded for everyone and can be awakened under certain conditions. He is committed to nurture globally-minded leaders in Asia and China.
Fascinated by the power of story, he co-founded a Non-profit Organization in 2012 dedicated to storytelling. He collaborates with top universities, MBA schools, and government authorities providing storytelling training, coaching, and stage performance services in Shanghai.
Ning holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, and an MBA from Shanghai Jiaotong University specialized in organizational behaviour. He is certified with several psychological tools such as Hogan and DISC. He is also a certified coach by International Coach Federation.
